Kate was the OG Coach & Mentor. I admired her something fierce. Before anyone was rocking short hair, Kate was. Throwin' down sports analogies to rally the team? Call in Kate. Need a leadership program to drive the next round of game-changers? That's Kate for 3.
She was Philly and fabulous and would be BUH-rutal with honest candor to help you improve your game. A pep talk or a kick-in-the tail coming from Kate were equally valuable as they were honest, immediate, actionable and always with your best interests in mind. She was kind, tough and fair, with high standards and a second-to-none work ethic. I am thankful to be among the many colleagues who learned from her and will miss her.
Kate, it's gonna take one heck of a rebounding lesson to recover from this one. We'll do our best, as you'd expect.
John, Nora, and Maggie, she was your biggest fan and cheerleader. I pray that you continue to feel that through the many others that she has inspired.
