Jacqueline A. Fox Obituary

Jacqueline Agnes Fox (Stappen), “Jackie”, “Florence”, “Chet”, passed away at Luther Woods on November, 22, 2023. She was 89 years old.


Jackie was born in Philadelphia, Pa where she met her husband of 69 years, James Fox III. They first met at the Pennypack Park swimming hole and eventually moved to Ivyland Borough where she resided for many years. Jackie was the mother to six children James (Karen), Michael (Kathy), Kevin (Eileen), Dennis (Carol), Debra (Gary) and Cheryl who passed away at very young age. Jackie joined the Ivyland Ladies Auxiliary and was an active member for several years. She loved to work out at Elaine Powers before exercising was popular. She also enjoyed traveling to Ireland and spending her summers in Avalon, NJ. She worked at the Genuardi’s Deli for many years until retirement.


Family was always important to Jackie and she loved spending time with her children, eighteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. She also looked forward to her weekly adventures with her sister-in-law Patricia. Jackie made everything special and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.


Relatives and friends may greet the family 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. on Thursday January 11th at Louis Swift Plunkett Funeral Home 529 N. York Rd. Hatboro. Memorial Mass 10 :30 A.M. at Nativity of Our Lord Chirch 625 W. Street Rd. Warminster. Interment 1:00 P.M. at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
