Joan Mary Przywitowski Obituary

Joan (Gillan) Przywitowski, mother, sister, wife, artist, and gardener, passed peacefully in her home on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 4:04 p.m. surrounded by loved ones.


A 1966 graduate of Upper Moreland High School, Joan was a homemaker and prolific artist with a long history of painting and quilting. She also loved gardening, sewing, teaching crafts, and caring for animals. She was well-known for her cooking/baking. She was preceded by her first husband, Samuel Przywitowski, and her second husband, Dennis Rickmon. Along with Samuel, she adopted two boys. She is survived by her sons, Robert and Jason Przywitowski; daughter-in-law, Susie Przywitowski; brother, Tom Gillan (Anna Gillan); newphew, Ian Gillan; cousin, Donna Schauerman; niece, Marie Mo (Larry); and kitty, Nellie.


The family is holding a celebration of life for friends and family on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 3 - 5 p.m. at 202 Pershing Avenue in Horsham, PA 19044. If anyone has any questions, please call Bob at 215-672-4728.
