Charles William Beifuss was born on February 15, 1930. He Passed away peacefully on January 29th, 2025 at Abington Hospital.
Born to Parents William and Anna Beifuss of Hatboro, PA. He attended St. David’s Catholic School for 1st through 8th grades and continued his secondary education at Hatboro High School. He was part of the Graduation class of 1948.
He became part of the family business, Beifuss Shoe Repair in Hatboro, PA, right out of high school. Shortly after, he married his high school sweetheart, Patricia Jones. They were married in 1951 at St. David's Catholic Church in Willow Grove. Patricia and Charles build a wonderful life together, welcoming three children into their family: Susan, Wayne (who died as an infant), and Karen. Charles decided to leave the family business after 20 years to spend more time with his family. He found his passion working for PECO where he retired after 30 years. Charles and Patricia were happily married until she died in 1988.
He married the second love of his life in October 1990, Betty Jane Hendricks. They lived out their golden years together. They spent time at the Beach, Traveling, and enjoying each other's company. As the years passed, they could be found sitting in the day room at Christ Home holding hands. This is where they lived out their final years together. After being married for 35 years, Betty remarked I wish I met him sooner.
Charles enjoyed working around the house, gardening, and photography. He also loved to travel and visit his shore house in Ocean City, NJ, with his wife, Betty.
