Obituary of Thomas` R. Jones

Thomas R. Jones of Hatboro passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025, at the age of 90. Known to his loved ones as "Pop," Russ was a devoted family man and a proud veteran of the United States Navy, where he honorably served for four years. Following his military service, he built a long and dedicated career in manufacturing.

Pop was a man of many joys. He cherished every moment spent with his family, especially watching his grandsons excel in sports. He loved traveling to new places, indulging in a good game of cards, and even trying his luck with a bit of gambling. His vibrant spirit and love of life left an indelible mark on everyone he met.

Thomas was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ann, and his son, Thomas R. Jr. He is survived by his children, Cheryl (Tommy’s wife), James (Jimmy) and his significant other Jill Gallagher, and Ann Margaret Ambolino (Ann) and her husband Tom. His legacy continues through his five grandsons Philip and his wife Quincy, Gregory, Nicholas, Thomas, and Matthew—and his two great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Kaiden.

Pop's unwavering love and dedication to his family were unmatched, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Relatives and friends may greet the family 9:30 A.M. Tuesday March 11th at Mary Mother of The Redeemer Church 1325 Upper State Rd. North Wales where Russ's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be a private service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Leukemia Society would be appreciated in memory of his son Thomas R Jones, Jr.
