Barbara "Barb" Striano Obituary

Barbara Ann Striano (née Sacchetta), lovingly known as Barb or Barbie, passed away on April 12, 2025, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, at the age of 62.

Born on February 27, 1963 at Holy Redeemer Hospital and growing up in Hatboro, Pennsylvania, Barb lived a life filled with devotion to her family and care for others.  One of her greatest joys was spending holidays with her family, decorating, cooking delicious meals, and enjoying a nice espresso martini, decaf of course!   She had the kindest and most loving heart with an exceptional flare for fashion.

Barb is survived by her beloved husband, Chris; her four children: Michael, Alicia, Bridgette (Kevin), and Nicholas; her cherished grandson Kai, who brought her immense joy as his Gigi; her mother, Barbara; her in-laws, Linda and Mark, her siblings: Jimmy (Diane), Tommy (Susan), Maribeth (Joe), and Marc; and 19 nieces and nephews who she loved so much.  She was predeceased by her father, James Sr., who has already greeted her in Heaven.

A graduate of Archbishop Wood Catholic High School, Barb dedicated much of her life to nurturing children through her home daycare. Her warmth and compassion left a lasting impact on the many young lives she touched over the years.

Barb’s constant companion was her beloved fur baby, Snowball, who was always by her side and brought her great comfort.

Barb faced pulmonary sarcoidosis with remarkable courage and strength. Though she ultimately lost her battle with the disease, she leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is now their angel, wishing for all to “breathe easy.”

Relatives and friends may greet the family 9:00 A.M. Monday, April 21st at St. Robert Bellarmine Church 856 Euclid Av., Warrington where Barb's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Interment to follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.

In honor of Barb’s memory and to support ongoing research into the disease she bravely fought, donations may be made to the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research at https://stopsarcoidosis.rallybound.org/awareness-month-2025/Donate.
