

Obituary of Bernadette C. Barry
Bernadete Barry (Castella), resident of Jamison, PA, formerly of Warminster, PA passed away peacefully April 21, 2025.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Fred and Peggy Castella, former owners of the Old Mill Inn, in Hatboro PA. She was a graduate of Little Flower High School in Philadelphia. She was employed by AT&T for 30 years and retired in 1984. She then worked at Wachovia Bank and A.G. Edwards Financial Services company in Horsham for 16 years part time.
Bernadette served as a Parish Council member at St Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Warrington and taught fifth and sixth grade CCD program for 11 years.
She was a volunteer for Holy Redeemer Hospital. Bernadette was also a volunteer for the Republican Party at the polls during election time.
Bernadette is the wife of the late James T. Barry and the sister of the late John F. Castella of Nacogdoches, TX. She is survived by a daughter, Bernadette Covaleski (Barry) and a son James T Barry Jr, two grandsons, Steven James and Christopher (Noelle) Covaleski; a great granddaughter, Charlotte Rose Covaleski; sister-in-law Patrica Castella (Hayden) of Nacogdoches, TX.
Nephews, Joseph Catella Nacogdoches, TX and Frederick Castella of Garland TX; and niece, Leah Castella of Acampo CA.
Relatives and friends may greet the family 9:30 A.M. Friday April 25th at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church 1410 Almshouse Rd., Jamison Pa., where Bernadette's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
