Obituary of Marion D. Reyda

Marion (Kmiec) Reyda was born August 20, 1923 in Philadelphia, child of Polish immigrants Andrew Kmiec and Julia (nee Schindler) Kmiec. She died on April 30, 2025 at Park Creek Place Assisted Living in Montgomery township.

After Marion graduated from Kensington High School, she worked in a number of jobs but shortly found her niche as a long-time employee at the old Schmidt's Brewery. Marion married John Reyda, an employee at Bell Labs (later Lucent) in 1968. The couple lived in Neptune, NJ for many years. They enjoyed the Jersey Shore and were also fortunate to have numerous, varied opportunities for domestic and world travel. Marion and John moved to Warrington, PA in 1999.

Following John Reyda's death in 2012, Marion continued to live independently in the Legacy Oaks community, eventually relocating to Park Creek Place in 2018.

Relatives and friends may call 11:30 A.M. Wednesday May 7th at St. Robert Bellarmine Church 856 Euclid Av., Warrington where Marion's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at Northampton Memorial Shrine in Easton Pa.
