Julius P. "Jules" Augustine Obituary

Julius P. (“Jules”, “Julo”) Augustine, 86, of Hatboro, PA passed away peacefully at home on May 7, 2025. He was the loving husband of Kim (Yurkoski) Augustine. They were married 46 years. Born at home on June 26, 1938 in Northampton, he was the son of the late Stephen and Mary (Unger) Augustine.

Jules was employed at Kinney Shoes, Otto’s Brauhaus, C&C Ford and Quakertown Ford, retiring in 1992. He is survived by his loving wife Kim, and his children Tammi (Art), Paul (Nikki), Amanda (Shawn), and Christopher. He was preceded in death by his son Stephen and daughter Kim Marie. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Jules was predeceased by his brothers Stephen, Martin, Stephen L, and John and sisters Mary, Pauline, Bertha, Hermina, and Tessie.

Jules deeply loved his family, and he will be missed by all those who knew him. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed landscaping and always retained the bragging rights for having the best-looking lawn and the most tomatoes on the vine each growing season. In retirement he spent parts of the year visiting his family in St. Augustine Florida, a town that he’d always jokingly claim was named after him.

He enjoyed cooking for everyone, and he was often the “grill master” at family cookouts. His passion for hunting spread over decades with his father-in-law, son and most recently his grandson. While he had a passion for the sport, he valued the time spent with everyone and the conversations over dinner at the end of the day more than any other part of it.

A celebration of life service will be held at Neshaminy-Warwick Presbyterian Church, 1401 Meetinghouse Road Warminster, PA 18974 on Saturday June 7, 2025. Visitation will be from 9AM-11AM followed by a service at 11AM.

Interment will be private.
