Gennaro “Gino” Passerini, 85, of Elkins Park, PA passed away peacefully on June 3, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Anita (nee: Zecchini) Passerini. They were married 61 years. Born on March 29, 1940 in Teramo, Italy, he is the son of the late Giovanni Passerini and the late Maria Passerini (nee: Irardi). He is the loving father of John (Theresa) Passerini, dear brother of the late Antonio (Gabriella), Settimio (Carol) and the late Mario (Janet) Passerini, and beloved grandfather of John, Jaclyn (John) Volpe, and Andrew Passerini, and proud great grandfather of Dante Volpe. Gino will be remembered for his affable nature, his generosity, his diligent work ethic and most of all, his love and devotion to his family.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 10am -11am at Saint James Church, 8320 Brookside Road, Elkins Park, PA 19027 followed by his Funeral Mass at 11am. Internment will take place immediately following his Funeral Mass at George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Avenue, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.
