Elizabeth Louise Kellar of Warminster, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Monday July 7th, 2025, at the age of ninety-one.
Elizabeth was born February 9th, 1934, in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. She often said it was the coldest day in history. She was the daughter of the late Joseph E. Johnson and Elizabeth L (Leeds) Johnson.
She was a graduate of Elmer L. Myers High School where she studied business and was a cheerleader.
She met and married her cherished husband Charles E. Kellar in 1955 at the Welsh Bethel Baptist Church in Wilkes Barre. They were married for 51 years at the time of his death in 2006.
They made their home and lifelong friends in Warminster. She was a proud member of the “Crazy Eights” card club. The card club of 8 friends and their husbands had many great times together making memories. They took yearly trips together, weekends away and had other fun times. She is survived by several members of the “Crazy Eights,” but especially dear friends Howard and Libby Davis of Florida.
Elizabeth worked and retired from Centennial School district where she was an aide in the Special Education department. She made many friends there who she kept in touch with throughout the years.
She was a 60+ year member of the Neshaminy Warwick Presbyterian Church.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles, grandson Matthew Kellar, and brother Jospeh E Johnson.
She is survived by her daughter Debra Corvino and son in law Robert Corvino of Hatboro, son Charles Kellar and daughter in law Patricia Kellar of Buckingham. Elizabeth was the adored grandmother of Michael Corvino, Christopher Corvino, Aaryn and Joe Pietrzak, Cassidy Corvino, and Kory Kellar. She was the most loved hero to great grandchildren Brielle and Joey Pietrzak and Amelia and Leo Corvino.
She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Thelma Jean and Leroy Correll of Pittston, PA and sister-in-law Sandra Kellar of Mountain Top, PA. She was Aunt Betty Lou to many nieces and nephews, and a cousin to many from Pennsylvania to Florida. She will be missed by her friends and neighbors.
Services will be private with interment at Neshaminy Warwick Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Her family wishes to thank Dr. Robert Lewcun and his staff for their time and patience and her caretakers at Neshaminy Manor Nursing Home during her brief time there.
Elizabeth was a believer of Jesus, family, and friends.
She will be missed greatly.
