Ellis Coer of Horsham, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on November 26, at the age of 87, with his family by his side.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Ellis graduated from South Philadelphia High School and Temple University. It was in Philadelphia that he met the love of his life, Bunny (Irene), with whom he shared 61 years of marriage. Together, they built a family and moved to Horsham in 1981.

Ellis was an avid sports fan but especially loved the Phillies and Eagles. He enjoyed spending time at the Jersey shore, playing games, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife and his granddaughter Emma. Ellis is survived by his children Bill (Lisa) Coer and Monica (Bill) Tritsch; his grandchildren Andrew, Rachel, Stephen, Olivia, and Evan; and two great-grandchildren, Camryn and Zella.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday January 3rd, at 10:30 AM at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery In Springfield, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Ellis’s memory.
