Joseph "Joe" McPeak Obituary
Joseph McPeak passed on March 8th, 2026, at 87. Joseph's life was a vibrant journey, characterized by his love for cycling, particularly The Tour de France, jazz, Motown music, the New England Patriots, and of course, his favorite baked goods, especially Yum Yums. His passion for life was contagious, making everyone around him feel alive and appreciated.
Born into a family that cherished its bonds, Joseph became the embodiment of kindness and love. His marriage with the love of his life, Pamela McPeak (nee Voth), spanned 48 memorable years, a testament to their enduring love and commitment. He was a proud father to Kady McPeak and Molly George (JD) who both inherited their father's wit and love for life. As a grandfather, Joseph's heart swelled with love for Emmery Mei, Kenadee Li, Presleigh Ling, and a little baby boy on his way. He was predeceased by his parents, James McPeak and Kathryn Gilligan, and his siblings, James McPeak (late Jane) and Cecelia (Ceil) Conly Young (late Gilbert and Joseph).
A lifelong electrician and member of the IBEW Local 98, his service extended beyond his profession as he also served in the Army National Guard. Joe loved coaching Little League in his younger years. A modest and humble man, Joe was a pacifist at heart, he believed in the power of love and kindness. Joseph's love for his dogs, especially Elsie, Peter Quill, Addie, and many other four-legged creatures was a testament to his gentle spirit. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces: Ashley, Kimberly, Glenn, Bruce, David, Penny, Debra (dec), Susan, Erin, Jeff, Alan and Michael (dec).
He also leaves many cousins and dear friends.
