Mary Lou Charlino Obituary

Mary Louise Charlino, 87, of Warminster, died Monday May 4th at home.

She was born on February 27, 1939 in Carbondale to the late William and Rose Quinn Prior and was raised in Palisades Park, New Jersey. Growing up, she spent her summers in Mayfield with her grandparents and cousins where she made lifelong memories that she loved to share. She and her family moved to Philadelphia in 1951 and completed her grade school education at St. Matthew’s. A proud Bambi, Mary Louise graduated from St. Hubert’s in 1957 and married the love of her life Richard Charlino, Warminster, in 1959.

Always smiling, she made friends wherever she went. Whether it be at church, school, or work, she always wanted to be kind to those around her and help whenever needed. In her retirement years, Mary Louise enjoyed playing with her grandchildren, going to see productions at the Walnut Street Theater, going to luncheons with friends, and having a craft, whether it be altering a shirt, cooking, or baking.

She is survived by her loving and attentive husband; her children: Richard (Donna) Charlino of Philadelphia, Daniel (Suzanne Hinkle) Charlino of Leesburg, Florida, Timothy Charlino of Apex, North Carolina, and Kristin (David) Golebiewski of Warminster; her grandchildren: RJ, Samantha, Hunter, Stephanie, Shane, and Brett; her great-grandchildren: Dimitri and Olivia, and her brother, Paul Prior of Philadelphia. She was predeceased by a sister, Ellen, and a brother, William.

The funeral will be held Monday May 11th, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Bosco Church, 215 E County Line Rd, Warminster. Viewing will be held at 9:30 a.m. Interment, Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.
