Patricia M. Rigney (nee Dean)

Affectionately known as Patsy. Born Patricia M. Dean on October 13, 1939, in Philadelphia, PA, Patsy embodied a spirit of kindness and thoughtfulness that touched all who knew her. 

Patsy was a dedicated parishioner at St. Joseph's Catholic Church and a proud graduate of the Little Flower High School class of 1957. Her commitment to her faith and education was paralleled only by her devotion to her family. She married the love of her life on June 11, 1960, at Immaculate Conception Parish in the East Germantown Section of Philadelphia, sharing an incredible 57 years of marriage. Patsy was unique and fun loving. She could take any bad situation and make it better with a cup of tea, a kind word and she had a great sense of humor that would ease someone's troubled day. She never made any left-hand turns while driving, a testament to her preference for taking the path less traveled. Her love for yellow roses was well known, a vibrant symbol of her bright and cheering personality.

Patricia is survived by her children, Gerald "Jerry" (the late Janene), Joanne (Edward), Michael Sr., and Daniel (Stephanie). She will be sadly missed by her adoring grandchildren Maddie, Nate, Caroline, Colleen, Michael, Jr., Nolan, Meghan, and Mackenzie. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her devoted husband, Gerald "Jerry" Rigney, her parents, John "Hap" Dean and Dorothy Evans, and her siblings, Barbara (David) and Daniel Dean.

Patricia's Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 15th, 11am at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 1795 Columbia Avenue, Warrington, Pennsylvania, 18976. Where a viewing will be held starting at 9:30am. Interment will immediately follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont, PA.
