Obituary of Robert M. Lesher
Robert Michael Lesher
Robert M. Lesher of Hatboro passed peacefully at his home Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016. He was 72.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah of 36 years; his daughter, Marisa Boyd, her husband, Al, and granddaughter, Dahlia of West Chester, Pa.; daughter, Bridget Pope, her husband, Shane, and grandchildren, Juliana, Curren and Koi of Kauai, Hawaii; his sister, Geri Connelly; and brothers, James, Chris and Michael Lesher; as well as 11 nephews of whom he was very proud.
Bob was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served two tours in Vietnam. He was a building contractor for much of his professional life and was always ready to help a friend with their home projects.
Bob loved the water all of his life; he was a water safety instructor in the Marines and he enjoyed sailing, and fishing. He loved golf and spending time with his dogs. Bob was an avid reader, and his loved ones all regret that he will never know the ending to A Game of Thrones.
Relatives and friends may greet the family 10 a.m. Saturday at Louis Swift Plunkett Funeral Home, 529 North York Road, Hatboro, followed by his funeral Liturgy at 11 a.m. Interment will be held privately.
