Obituary of Philip J. Lindmeier

Philip J. Lindmeier of Southampton died Saturday, July 18, 2015. He was 88. He was the husband for 65 years of Janet E. (Nicholas) Lindmeier. Born in Haycock, Pa., he was the son of the late Fritz and Sophie (Bernholtz) Lindmeier. Philip was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was employed for 40 years with Fischer and Porter in Warminster. Mr. Lindmeier was an avid gardener. He was the father of Martin F. (Eileen) and Kris, and grandfather of Patrick and Laura. He is also survived by his brother, Joseph. Relatives and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at the Louis Swift Plunkett Funeral Home, 529 N. York Road, Hatboro. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Friday, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 611 Knowles Ave., Southampton. There will be no Friday morning viewing. Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.Louis Swift Plunkett Funeral Home,Hatboro.
