Obituary of Christine L. Kane

Christine L. Kane Christine L. (Kaufman) Kane of North Wales passed away Monday, March 13, 2017 at her son's home surrounded by her loving family. She was 69. Chris was the daughter of the late Leslie G. Kaufman Jr. and Doris E. Kaufman. Chris is survived by her children, Michele A. Kane of Tampa, Fla. and Timothy D. Kane (Chintya) of Hatboro; her brother, Andrew B. Kaufman (Cheryl) of Cheltenham, Pa.; and her sister, Laura E. O'Neill (Gary) of Warminster. She also is survived by three grandchildren, Richard P. Sayland of Tampa, and Bridget K. Sayland and Kerry E. Sayland of Willow Grove; many nieces and nephews; and her devoted Aunt Betty Blessing. She was preceded in death by her brother, Leslie G. Kaufman III. Chris worked for 20 years at Prudential and also had worked for Asplundh Tree Co. She had a lifelong love for her Siamese cats. She was generous to multiple charities. She always remembered to send birthday cards to family members and friends. Elvis Presley and the Beatles were her favorite music. She enjoyed writing to her pen pal from England for over 20 years. She loved her family and friends very much and always thought of everyone else before herself - she was a giver. Relatives and friends may greet the family at 10 a.m. Monday, in the Wayside Chapel at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Limekiln Pike and Horsham Road, Horsham, where her memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Inurnment will follow in the park. Unfortunately, there is not enough awareness about this disease.
