Obituary of Lorraine Joan Bovenkamp

Lorraine Joan (Lewis) Bovenkamp of Warminster passed into eternal life on December 3rd, 2017 joining her beloved husband of 52 years ,John, who died onChristmas Eve 2006. She was born at Frankford Hospital in 1933 to the late John A. and Lillian (Mulholland) Lewis. She was the sister of the late Joan Ucci. A 1950 graduate of St. Basil Academy, she was employed as a secretary for Stokes & Smith Mfg. Co. in Philadelphia, where she met her future  husband who was the chef-manager of the cafeteria.
 They married in 1954 at St. Cecilia Church in Fox Chase then  moved to " the country" in Warminster. There they raised four  children;Lynne Arthur, John Jr., Lorraine Smith and Lisa Rufe. They also had 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She enjoyed taking pictures and making photo albums for her family. She also liked to write poems and make flower arrangements. John and Lorraine both enjoyed the special time spent with their children and grandchildren.
She is also survived by her brother-in-law George Ucci, 2 nieces, 1 nephew, 1 great niece and 2 great nephews. Relatives and friends may call Saturday 9;00 to 10:15 A.M.
