I knew Bob when he worked for HHSD. He was the liaison for the out-of-district placed students at the school where I worked. Many years later, I had the pleasure of reuniting with him when he was working for St. Albert the Great. Bob always had deep concern for the children he served. He was a sweet man. I am truly sorry to hear of his passing.

Aunt Loretta James, Jenna and families I am truly sorry to hear of Uncle Bobby's passing, I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers in the days, weeks & months ahead as you continue on life's path without him. Dear Loretta and family, I enjoyed the many years I worked with Bob at MCIU and throughout the county as we both moved into administrative positions. Bob followed me at Hatboro-Horsham where we both supervised special education for the district. I moved on to Upper Dublin where I, too, became an elementary principal and Director of Student Services. Bob and I shared a lot in common regarding our careers. I always enjoyed his wise counsel and calm demeanor even when we were faced with stressful situations regarding students and sometimes legal issues that plagued special education. Bob was an exceptional educator and a good friend. He has left behind many fond memories. Sincerely, Sue Shenberger

Loretta and family, I was so sorry to hear about Bob's passing. I will always treasure our friendship and working relationship as well. I will remember road trips with Bob to special ed meetings where he always had snacks, especially chocolate chip cookies and diet coke.
