To the entire Mulligan family, I am sorry for your loss of Mike. He was one of the nicest people I have ever met. Mike always had a smile and never had a bad word to say. I always enjoyed playing volleyball with or against Mike. My condolences to the entire Mulligan family.

Fond memories of Mike. We grew up as close friends on Madison Ave. I clearly remember all the times playing basketball in his driveway and home run derby out front in the street. We lost touch over the years but the memories remain. I am sad to hear of his passing at such a young age. My condolences to his family during this tough time.
Sincerely,
Chuck Peniston

Dear Carol, Colleen and family,
Even though we did not know Mike personally, we knew him through his wonderful daughter, Colleen. It was such a relief when Amanda 'found a sister' in Colleen as they shared a freshman dorm together and navigated their first year together at Drexel. Mike, and Carol, raised a sweet, confident, caring smart and lovely daughter and we were so thankful that Amanda had, and still has, her in her life. Colleen is a testament to two wonderful people, her parents. We are also thankful for you and Mike welcoming Amanda into your home and lives as well. We pray for Mike, may he rest in peace, and for you and your family for God to grant you His peace and comfort during this very sad time.
Much love,
Jack and Barbara Ondash

We have been fortunate to have known Mike as a Network Associate for over 10 years and he soon after became a (True) friend. A humble and happy-go-lucky guy that was there for everyone, always there for anyone that needed him. We also had the opportunity to meet his family both he and those family members were blessed to have Mike in their lives.

Dear Cousins, I am so sorry for your loss. I had never met Mike but I felt like I knew him from all the wonderful posts I read on Facebook over the years. Mike was such a loving and caring person that I know he was loved by everyone who met him. I know that he will always be alive in the stories and tales that you will tell about Mike at Christmas and at every Christmas in the future. Know that your Chicago cousins will remember Mike in our prayers. May he rest in peace.

Deepest condolences to the Mulligan family. Mike was a very close friend in high school. We missed him greatly at our recent 40 year reunion. Intelligent, friendly, compassionate, athletic, sincere, optimistic I could continue for quite a while with positive things to say. We will all miss him greatly. Hoping the good lord helps see you through this difficult time.

Big Mike. You will be missed. Your big laugh, funny wit, presence in a room and overall generosity is gone all too soon. When you would see Mike out at an event or run into him somewhere you knew you were in for a great time. The only time he would argue with you is when he insisted on picking up the bar tab. You were a treasure to community and to everyone who met you. Thank you for all that you gave.

Mike was more than a co-worker, more than a friend. He was part of the Read's Moving family. He had a quick wit and a disarming smile, even in the worst of circumstances. He was fiercely loyal to his clients and co-workers, but mostly to his family. His spirit and courage right up until the end is a testament to his strong character, and he will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him. My heart goes out to his family and friends. Godspeed, Mike. We'll see you on the other side.

Such a sad loss. Mike was an all around great guy. Always caring, generous, smiling, loving life and living it to its fullest. Awesome smile, awesome friend....to many.
He will be sadly missed.
He died just in time to celebrate Christmas in Heaven because he wouldn’t want to miss That party. We all would’ve wanted him to wait another 20 years, though.
Prayers are being sent whole heartily to Carol and the whole Mulligan family and to all his many friends.
