Lapkiewicz, Janet D. (nee Kopec)

Of Huntingdon Vly passed in grace with family at her side on Dec 19 at the age of 93. Born and raised in Phila, as a young woman was recognized and became one of Phila’s top models with work in local live TV, magazines and newspapers eventually becoming the president of the Model’s Guild of Philadelphia.

Janet was a loving mother and grandmother and probably best known for her kindness and grace. She is survived by her children Robert (Colleen), Janice (Jean-Louis), grandchildren Nancy, Ellen and Karen. Predeceased by her husband Sylvester (Bill), son Leonard and brother Walter.

Visitation will be Thur Dec 27th 9:30-11 A.M. at Louis Swift Plunkett Funeral Home 529 N. York Rd., Hatboro with a prayer service following. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Janet’s name to the Dementia Society of America
