My heart breaks for the loss of my nephew, who was such a bright and talented young man. I often played his rap music for my high school students, who affectionately dubbed him "the white rapper." Allen was the first grandchild in our family, so naturally he garnered a lot of attention, particularly from his number one fan, Grandmom Cummings. What I loved the most about Allen was that he was endearingly shy at times, as well as kind, funny, and friendly. Challen, Jenny, Mary Beth, Chance, Daijah, Aunt Joan, Uncle Fran, and everyone else who loved Allen, John and I express our deepest sympathies to you. May he rest in peace.
