Obituary of Angela Puglisi

Angela Puglisi, 100 years of age, of Warminster Pa., passed away in her sleep on April 17, 2020 in her home. She was the wife of the late Carmelo Puglisi. A private Funeral Mass will be held at Nativity of Our Lord Church and can be viewed via live stream at www.noolp.org on Wednesday April 22nd at 12:30 P.M. with Father Joe Watson officiating. Private burial will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park. Visitation will be for immediate family only, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, and will be handled by Louis Swift Plunkett Funeral Home, Hatboro. Angela was born in Malvagna Sicilia to Antonino Cernuto and Maria Taranto on October 2,1919. She finished Elementary school in the small town where all classes were held in a class room in the Municipal building. She came to the United States on November 16, 1960 and worked as a seamstress at Eagle clothes for 25 yrs in Brooklyn New York. She enjoyed reading romances, crocheting baby clothes and knitting. She was a follower of the Order of Santa Rita and enrolled for life. She sang in the town Church at all Masses with her beautiful soprano voice. Angela is survived by her son Angelo and his wife Diane, daughter-in-law Linda (the late Anthony), Granddaughter Dawn and her husband Ray and great-grandchildren Shane, Dylan and Ryan, Grandson Angelo and his wife Nadiia and great-grandson Landon. Sister-in-law Francis Cernuto and sons Anthony and his wife Cathy, Frankie and sister Marie and her husband Ronny. Niece Phyllis and Joseph, Anthony and Elena, Maria, Angelo and his wife Sylvia.
