Jim & I were the only two agents in the KW office on a Sat afternoon. Both of us were on the bull pin working on commuters. He kept yawning and saying he was so sleepy and just wished he could take a nap. I asked him if he was feeling OK and I would take him home if he needed. NO he insisted he just needed a nap. Repeated yawning and sighing. Finally I said look Jim I live in the Boro and I will drive you to my house and you can take a nap on my sofa BUT if you ever tell anyone -- I'll have to kill you! So, I drove him to my home. Put a sheet and pillow on my sofa. I went back to the office to continue to work. He thought he would sleep about 30 minutes and would call me at the office to come and pick him up. After 90 minutes and I still hadn't heard from him and I began to panic! What if died on my sofa -- in my home??? OMG how would I explain that? I drove from the office to my home in pure panic. There he was sound asleep AND breathing on my sofa. I yelled wake up and he did and we returned to the office. Never told this story to anyone and he made me a promise that he would never tell either. I love your Husband, your Father and your Uncle. He had a remarkable sense of humor and was funny without trying. He was a kind, decent human who truly cared about others. I'm very sorry for this enormous loss. God grant you peace.
