Obituary of John R. Stozenski

John R. Stozenski of Warminster, PA, entered into eternal life Thursday, December 17, 2020. He was 91. He was born October 17, 1929, in Forty Fort, Pa., to John A. and Mary Hardish Stozenski. John married the love of his life, Louise Grasso, on November 15, 1952. Their 63-year marriage was filled with love and happiness, and they were partners in every way. After graduating from Penn State University in State College, PA in 1952, John began a successful career in the insurance industry. Starting at New York Life, then later holding executive leadership roles at the Life Insurance Company of North America and Cigna. John was also active in the community as a member of the Board of Trustees of Abington Memorial Hospital, and several mental health associations. John retired in 1988 and spent many wonderful years with family and friends, enjoying golf, travel and splitting time between Meadowbrook, PA; Penn Lake, PA; and Anna Maria Island, FL. John was blessed to live a wonderfully full life, filled with family, faith and laughter. John and Louise had four children who were the light of their lives: Lou Ann Johnson (Stephen), Jodi Byrne, Jackie Stozenski, and Diane Denny (Walter); ten grandchildren: Scott Johnson (Elizabeth), Brett Johnson (Cora), Erik Johnson (Meredith), and Lauren Toy (William); Devon Byrne, Meghan Alleyne (Wayne), Erin Lee (Kun), and Mark Byrne; John Denny and Robert Denny; and, six great-grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his beloved wife Louise Grasso Stozenski, and survived by his brother George Stozenski (Sheila) of Mountain Top, PA and many nieces and nephews. Due to COVID-19, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held virtually only on Wednesday, December 23 at 10:30am from Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 605 West Street Road, Warminster, PA 18974 with interment immediately following in St John Neumann Catholic Cemetery, 3797 County Line Road, Chalfont, PA 18914. Louis Swift Plunkett Funeral Home, Hatboro, PA. A celebration of his remarkable life will be held at a later time.
