Jane F. Early of Hatboro passed away, December 19th, 2020 at Woodland Creek Alzheimer’s Special Care Center. She was 79. She was the beloved wife of the late Gene Schmoltze with whom she shared 11 years of happiness. She was born in Philadelphia, PA the daughter of the late Thomas and Vera Early After graduating from Cardinal Dougherty High School, she went on to earn her PhD in Philosophy at Temple University. She taught at Lasalle University and was a teacher for most of her career. She was an avid reader and enjoyed writing as well. Jane was an independent woman with firmly held beliefs, she was a devoted Catholic. Jane is survived by 4 stepchildren, Gene Schmoltze and his wife Jackie of Willow grove, Diana Fox and her husband Bob of Telford, Harry Schmoltze of Pottsville, and Stephanie Nelson of Doylestown. Relatives and Friends are invited to her viewing on December 26th at 9:30 am and to attend her Funeral Mass at 10:30am at St. John Bosco Church 215 E. County Line Rd, Warminster, PA 18974. Her interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl.17 Chicago, IL 60601.
