Vicenta Montalvo

Obituary of Vicenta I. Montalvo

Vicenta I. Montalvo was called to heaven on February 1, 2021. Vicenta was born as Vicenta Irene Pardo on April 5,1936 to Lucia Matos and Carlos Pardo. She is one of five siblings. She was mother of four children, leaving behind three (Samuel Montalvo, Carlos Montalvo, and Maritza Rosado). She was a Grandmother of nine and a great grandmother of thirteen. Vicenta was always full of joy, her laughter was contagious and filled the room with such happiness. She had a very big heart, she loved everyone as if they were her own. She loved to travel around the world on cruises, she loved to dance and have fun with family. She was so strong, she always fought to get back up when life was knocking her down. She will be missed and forever be remembered. In lieu of flowers, please consider sending a small memorial donation to St. Jude Children’s hospital at www.stjude.org/donate in her honor, as it was a very special foundation to her. She will be viewed at Louis Swift Plunkett Funeral Home from 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM and put to rest at Rosehill cemetery at 2:00 PM on Tuesday February 9, 2021. Due to current circumstances and our concern for health and safety, anyone attending must wear a mask at all times and maintain social distancing.
