Obituary of Lynn E. Pinkerton

It is with great sadness her husband John announce the peaceful passing of Lynn Malloy Pinkerton on Sunday, July 11, 2021 Lynn was born in Philadelphia on November 30, 1952, to her late mom Ruth Malloy. She graduated from Kensington High School Class of 1970 and studied nursing at Pennsylvania Hospital earning her RN, Class of 1973. She remained in the nursing field all her life ending her career, as a nurse case manager with Cigna. Lynn met the love of her life John in Wildwood, fifty years ago and married on October 4, 1975. They raised fur babies. Lynn loved her King Cavalier pups. She enjoyed Wildwood, shopping, the Phillies and most of all spending time with family and friends. She spread kindness and care to everyone. She was always there for those who needed her. She always carried a great purse and wore sparkling earrings and an even brighter smile. She was a wonderful wife, daughter, sister-in-law, niece, cousin, Aunt Lynn, Fur Mom and Friend. She will be truly missed by all as she left us with happy memories and continuous love. She is survived by her loving husband, John, her fur babies Redmond and Declan. Sister and Brothers in law, Cathy Pinkerton, Charles and Tess Pinkerton, Ann and Walter Suttmann, Robert Pinkerton and the late William Pinkerton and Alan Pinkerton. Also, her Aunt Rose Fox, special cousins, Godchildren, nieces, nephews and lifelong friends. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a no-kill animal shelter in her memory. Visitation in honor of Lynn will be at Louis Swift Plunkett Funeral Home 529 N. York Rd. Hatboro, Pa. on Saturday July 24th, 2021 at 9:30AM. Followed by her prayer service at 10:30 AM. Interment is private. If you wish to send flowers they must arrive on Friday 7/23/21 by 3PM.
