Obituary of Rose E. Francica

Rose E Francica (née Rugel) 86, of Quakertown Pa (formerly of Warrington), passed away on July, 23,2021 in Quakertown. Although born to John and Catherine Rugel in Philadelphia,Pa., Rose spent much of her childhood on her grandparents farm. She graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School in Philadelphia, then worked at several jobs and traveled extensively before meeting her husband and raising a family. Rose participated in bowling leagues, winning several trophies before deciding to return to work at a law office in Doylestown. Rose enjoyed spending time with friends and family and hosting holiday dinners. She also enjoyed crafts such as needlework and crocheting, and was known for making blankets, pillows, etc. Rose was an avid reader and amazed others by doing crosswords puzzles in pen. Rose was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Nicholas, to whom she had been married for 57 years. She is survived by her children, Nicholas (Amy), Anne Marie, and Donna Buerger (Peter); her grandchildren, Rachel, Stephen, Michael and Josef, and her sister Mary Stollsteimer.
