Elizabeth A. Morris Obituary

Elizabeth A (Stewart) Morris, 9 days shy of her 90th birthday, went home to The Lord on January 2, 2022. She was born in Philadelphia on January 11,1932 to the late Thomas and Catherine (McCormick) Stewart.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry J Morris, Jr., her son Robert J Morris, grandchildren Matthew Morris, Katharine Kluge and brothers Thomas Stewart and Anthony (Bud) Stewart.

She is survived by her 9 children: Harry Morris, III (Joanne), Thomas Morris (Denise), Elizabeth Hildebrand (Steven), Patricia Kluge (Thomas), James Morris, Edward Morris (Susan), Michael Morris, Paul Morris (Kristin) and Margaret Mary Morris Kolvites 24 grandchildren: Cathi Morris Hagg, Michael Morris, Jeffrey Morris, Christopher Morris. Daniel Morris, Carrie Morris Pietarinen, Robert Morris, Steven Hildebrand, Brian Hildebrand, Sean Hildebrand, Michelle Hildebrand Gunther, Tricia Kluge Hall, Thomas Kluge, James Morris, Jacquline Morris, Timothy Morris, Nancy Morris Joy, Michael Morris, Daniel Morris, Shawn Morris, Paul Morris, Caitlin Morris, Zachary Kolvites, Luke Kolvites and 22 great grandchildren. Also survived by her sister-in-law Nancy Stewart and many nieces and nephews.

Betty was a devout Catholic. She spent many years volunteering at The Carmelite Monastery and St John Bosco Church. She had a true devotion to praying The Rosary and watching EWTN.

Relatives and friends may greet the family on Monday, January 10th, 9:30am at St. John Bosco Church 235 E. County Line Rd, Hatboro, PA. 19040 Funeral Mass at 11am. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery 5201 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Elizabeth’s name to: Carmelite Monastery, 1400 66th Ave., Philadelphia, PA. 19126
