Obituary of Ronald H. Schneider

Ronald Herbert Schneider of Warminster, PA after suffering from a short-term illness and the death of his wife Frances (nee Palladino) of 67 years passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 surrounded by his dedicated and loving family. He was 92. He was preceded in death by his father Charles and mother Katherine (nee Probst) and brothers Charles and Kenneth and his great-grandchildren Briar McQueen and Weston Schneider. Ronald is survived by his sister Lois Hardy (George Hendrix) and his four children, Eric and his spouse Mary, Kurt and Dee, Kim and her spouse Jeani, and Karl and his spouse Frances. He is also survived by his grandchildren Charles, Megan, Shannon, Ashley, Kurt, Scott, Thomas, Daniel, Joseph and Greyson. and eleven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many other relatives who loved and adored him. Born in Folsom, Ridley Township, PA, Ron raised many different types of animals as a child and was fond of gardening. In school he was involved in basketball and the band playing the trumpet. He was known to be an excellent ping pong player and also played basketball at Delaware Valley College. Ron served his country in the U.S. Army stationed in various European cities. After graduation from the University of Delaware he was employed by Burpee Seed Company before starting and owning his own Landscaping business for many decades. He was a lifetime fan of the Philadelphia and Archbishop Wood sports teams. He was the best fan and supporter of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildrens’ sports and activities. He had a special relationship with each and every family member. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday evening, January 24, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Louis Swift Plunkett Funeral Home, 529 N. York Road, Hatboro, PA 19040, and Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Church, 1795 Columbia Ave., Warrington, PA 18976 from 9:30 am until the time of his Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. His interment will follow the Mass at Whitemarsh Memorial Park Cemetery, Ambler, PA.
