Obituary of Janet E. Lindmeier

Janet E. (Nicholas) Lindmeier of Southampton passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the age of 89. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Philip Lindmeier, whom she was married to for 65 years. She is survived by her two sons, Martin (Eileen) and Kris; her siblings, Jay Nicholas (Vicky), Judy Schadder, Jill Nicholas; and her two grandchildren, Patrick and Laura. In addition to being a homemaker, Janet worked for Fischer & Porter and as a clerk at Holy Redeemer Hospital. Later in life, she was an active member of Our Lady of Good Counsel’s senior club. She loved to read, travel, spend time with her family, and collect gnomes! In retirement, “Nanny” relished Thursday visits with her two beloved grandchildren and watching them grow up. The family wishes to thank nurse Robyn Purvis from St. Mary’s Medical Center who took wonderful care of Mom/Nanny to the end – Robyn was a skilled professional, advocate, and dear friend. Relatives and friends may greet the family Thursday, March 3rd, 10:00 A.M. at Our lady of Good Counsel Church 611 Knowles Av. Southampton. Funeral Mass 11:30 A.M. Interment to follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
