Obituary of Theresa M Caparros
Theresa “Terry” M. Caparros died on March 14, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 15th, 1930 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Edward Aspen and Claire( Spangler) Aspen.
Terry was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Martin F. Caparros and her brothers, Edward Aspen and George Aspen (Gerry). She is survived by her 6 children: Martin E. (Mary Linda), John, Maria, Jim, Mary Claire (Adam) and Paul. She is also survived by her Grandchildren: Michelle, Marty, Sean, Katie, Stephanie, Caroline, Maura, Jackie, Kristopher, Kymberle and Matthew as well as 15 Great Grandchildren.
Terry was a foster parent, an active member of Nativity of Our Lord Parrish, involved in Mother’s Club, CYO, Carnival and Bingo, to name a few. A constant through it all was her best friend, Sally Konieczny “Mrs. K.”. In the early 70’s, Terry became a beloved secretary at Archbishop Wood High School for Boys until she retired to take care of her husband. Every summer was spent in Long Beach Island enjoying the sea air. Travel, knitting and reading were her true passions.
She was known for her quick wit, sense of humor, intelligence and in the later years, lack of filter.
The family will receive relatives and friends Friday March 18th at Nativity of Our Lord Church 625 W. Street Road, Warminster, Pa 18974, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 am. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am. Mass will be live streamed on the Church website: www.noolp.org Interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont and a luncheon at Joseph Ambler Inn in Horsham.
