Genevieve A. Rider Obituary

Jean (Genevieve) A. Rider passed away peacefully on April 5th, 2022. She was born in Philadelphia the daughter of Theodore and Genevieve Rogozinski. She was preceded in death by her husband, James and Sister, Anita. She is survived by her sons Paul (Emily) and Jeff (Suzanne) as well as her daughter Anita Paul (Josh). She is also survived by five grandchildren.

Jean was a graduate of Little Flower Girls High School.

She worked many years as an Administrative Assistant at Daley Manufacturing in Willow Grove.

She met the love of her life, Jimmy, in 1956, was married in June 1958, moved to Hatboro in 1961 and they began attending and became members of St John Bosco Catholic church. She was an active participant in the Hatboro Swim Club, was a Cub Scout Den Mother and volunteer for many community and church functions. She will be missed dearly by all her family & friends.

Relatives and friends may greet the family Saturday April 9th at St. John Bosco Catholic Church for a viewing 9:30am to 10:30am followed by a Mass at 10:30. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Jean’s name be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation: alz.org

The family wishes to thank the wonderful Staff at Gloria Dei as they treated Mom like family. Mom loved each one of you.
