Obituary of Ernest J. Huckfeldt

Ernest "Ernie"Huckfeldt of Jamison, Pa passed away peacefully on April 11th, 2022. He was born in Philadelphia the son of Ernest and Amelia Huckfeldt, he was 88 years young.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Kenny (Fischer) and sister Doris (Dettrey). He is survived by his sons Ernie, Bret (Donna) and Rick (Meg) as well as his daughter DeAnn Alleva (Lou). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Bret Jr., Evan, Danielle, Taylor, Morgan, Sierra, Brianna, Christian, four great grandchildren  and one great great grandchild.

Ernie  was a graduate of Temple University and Mastbuam Vocational High School. He served in the USAF before starting and retiring from Day & Zimmerman Engineering Company .

He was active in Good Shepard Lutheran Church, played golf, softball and coached youth baseball but his passion was with his wife together attending their grandchildren’s sports or school events.

Relatives and friends may greet the family Saturday April 16th at Louis Swift  Plunkett Funeral Home, Hatboro Pa for a viewing starting at 8:30 am and Prayer Service at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Feasterville Pa.
