Obituary of James Joseph Perrucci

James J. Perrucci of Warminster, Pa. passed away Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016 at Abington Memorial Hospital. He was 75. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Marie (Perrucci) Hipple. He was the beloved husband of Deborah J. (Schempp) Perrucci, and the loving father of Christy L. Distler (Ryan) of Warminster, James M. Perrucci (Yvonne) of Perkasie, and Russell W. Perrucci (Fannie) of Horsham. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Leah, Mason, Micah, Reese, Chase, and Logan, and his beloved dog, Emma. Jim was a graduate of Roman Catholic High School and Pierce Business College. He also served for six years in the United States Army. He was a long-time employee of Allied Chemical Company (Allied Signal, Honeywell) as a Divisional Sales Representative, covering New England and the Middle Atlantic States. He retired from Allied in 1990 and was then employed as a courier for Philadelphia Express, Folcroft, Pa., for more than 20 years. He loved cars, and over the years owned a large variety, ranging from station wagons and minivans, to Corvettes and a Mercedes Benz. He enjoyed car shows, model trains, and clocks and watches. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Wednesday, Jan. 20, at CrossWay Community Church, 3805 Mill Road, Willow Grove, Pa., where the visitation will begin at 10 a.m. followed by the service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory can be made to Veterinary Comparative Oncology Research Foundation, 739 E.
