Janice C. Donlevie (née Galanti)passed away peacefully, in her sleep, at home, on February 5, 2023. She was 77 yrs old. She was preceded in death by her father, William N. Galanti, her mother, Carolyn A. Galanti and her brother, William F. Galanti. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Jim and her children: Carole Harper (husband David Harper) and Jim Donlevie (wife Tiffany Rymal) and 8 grand children: Tara, Loren and Shane Harper; Julia, Jessica and Ryan Donlevie; Riley and Jace Peterson; and her brother Ted Galanti.

Jan was born in Philadelphia and grew up in Huntingdon Valley. She attended Villa Joseph Marie High School and graduated from Fairly Dickinson University. She loved the beach, tennis, golf, bridge and mah jong. She also loved to travel. She was always known for her laugh and her friendly smile. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

A private funeral mass was held for the family at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Catholic Church. The family plans to hold a Celebration of her life sometime in the late spring.

Donations can be made, in her name, to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
