Obituary of Carl T. Bachinsky

Carl T. Bachinsky, 92, of Warminster, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on October 23, 2023.

Carl was born on March 10, 1931, to John (Jack) and Catherine Bachinsky in St. Clair, PA. Carl graduated from North Catholic High School in Philadelphia and soon after started a construction company with his father and brothers which eventually became Northwood Construction Company, Inc. (Warminster). He ran Northwood Construction with his brothers until his retirement in 2000. Even after retirement, he stayed active with Northwood, guiding his sons and nephews in running the company.

In 1961, Carl met the love of his life, Margaret (Peg) Kueny. They married on June 29, 1963 at St. Charles Borromeo in Bensalem, PA and they recently celebrated their 60^th anniversary. Beyond being survived by Margaret (Peg), Carl is survived by his children and grandchildren, Jerry Bachinsky (wife Leslie and children Carly and Garrett), Jack Bachinsky (wife Martha and daughters Alexa and Megan), Joe Bachinsky (wife Becky and son Daniel) and Meg Keilman (husband Chris and daughters Sarah and Erin).

Carl loved spending time with his family whether at his home, the family’s Vermont house, or his shore house in Anglesea. In his younger days, he was a champion dart shooter and loved working on his cars – including his favorite ’39 Ford Coupe. He loved golfing with his friends and family, as well.

Carl is predeceased by his brothers John, Gene and Bob whom he loved and enjoyed their weekly Pinochle games, horseshoes and meeting out for breakfast almost daily. Carl also truly loved and enjoyed his extended family of in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.

A viewing will be held at St. John Bosco Church 235 E. Countyline Rd. Hatboro on Monday October 30th at 9:30 AM immediately followed by a Funeral Mass starting at 10:30 A.M. Graveside Services will be held at Resurrection cemetery in Bensalem following the Mass.
