Obituary of Ann C. Thistle

Ann C. Thistle (McGrath) Died peacefully at home with family by her side on 12/24/24.
Born in Philadelphia, PA to John and Honora (Mahoney) McGrath on 12/27/1933.
Ann was raised in Warrington, PA and graduated from Little Flower High School in
1951.
Ann is preceded in death by her husband David J. Thistle Sr., her parents, her brothers
John, James, Edward, Raymond, Paul, Robert and her sister Catherine McCartney also
her sisters-in-law Ruth McKee and Jane Gibson.

Ann is survived by her children David Jr. (Sue), Michael, Ann (Nancy) Simon (Kenneth),
James, Teresa Wrenn (Christopher), Brian (Jennifer) her 18 grandchildren and 21 great-
grandchildren. Her sisters Joan Hagenbart, Margaret Rawa, Bernadette Scarborough,
her Sister-in-Law Kay Hartman and many nieces and nephews.

If you were the lucky recipient of cards, letters or packages from Ann, you knew she had
a special flair for adding her own touch of humor to everything she sent.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the charity of your choice in Ann’s
memory as she donated to so many for us to pick just one.

Relatives and friends may greet the family at 9:30 A.M. Friday January 3rd. at St. John Bosco Church 235 E. Countyline Rd.,Hatboro, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. Interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery Chalfont.
