Obituary of Edward J. Maceyko Sr.

Edward J. Maceyko Sr. Edward J. Maceyko Sr. of Warminster passed away peacefully and unexpectedly Sunday, April 17, 2016. He was 87. Born in Jessup, Pa., to Michael and Mary Maceyko, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marie (Nalevanko); his son, Edward Jr. (Cindi); his daughter, Judy Sweriduk (Chris); and his son, Joseph. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Andrew, Michael (Brittany), Thomas, and James. Ed was a graduate of The University of Scranton, and served his country (Army) in the Korean War. He continued to serve the public in the Social Security Administration before retiring as manager of the SSA office in Glenside. He was an active member of Nativity of Our Lord Church, and also a member of the Fr. Joseph A. Gallen Council No. 5494 and Nativity Chapter 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. He was also an avid Philadelphia sports fan, and most especially enjoyed his rounds of golf! Relatives and friends may call Friday 9 a.m., at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 625 W. Street Road, Warminster, PA 18974. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery.
