Obituary of Robert P. LaRoss

Robert LaRoss Robert LaRoss passed away peacefully surrounded by love Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, he was the youngest son of the late Stanley and Mary Agnes. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Ellen; and by his brothers, John and Chauncey; and sisters, Anna Mae and Dorothy. He was married to Elvira (Gregory) for 62 years. He is survived by five children, Patricia (David), Robert Jr. (Carole), Douglas (Diane), Janet (Parke), and Lisa (Thomas). He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, David (Donna), Paige, Alex, Spenser, Logan, Grace, Jordan, and Elena; as well as by his adopted grandchildren, Brandon, Kyle and Ethan; and his foster grandchildren, Olivia, Jasmine and Styephanie. For 37 years he worked at SKF Industries, Philadelphia and after retirement was a bus driver for Centennial School District. He was a longtime member and usher at Nativity of Our Lord Church. A viewing will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 625 W. Street Rd., Warminster, PA 18974. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m.. with interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham. In lieu of flowers, donations to Nativity of Our Lord Building Fund would be appreciated.
