Sue could make me laugh at the most inappropriate situations, and she took full advantage of that talent, to my amusement and sometimes chagrin.
“Back in the day,” we used to compete to see who could do the best prank for each other’s birthday. One year, Tom and I spontaneously took her to a cousin’s house just to confuse her, and (unbeknownst to us) they were actually hosting a kids’ birthday party. We asked them to yell “Surprise!” when we brought her in. She seemed thrilled, then looked around, and asked, “Who are you people?” It was hilarious.
Sue, all the times you used to say, “I’ll never see these people again” ... guess what? You are now. And I’m sure you’re having a great time with Terry and everyone you loved and missed.
Happy Birthday in Heaven, dear friend! May you bring as much fun and laughter up there as you did down there! ♥️Mary
