Obituary of Eliana DeFatima Walker
Eliana “Yana” Defatima Walker, 64 of New Hope, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on April 25, 2021 after a courageous and hard-fought battle with cancer. Born in Monte Alegre, Brazil, she immigrated to the United States with her Family on April 1, 1960 and grew up in Warminster, Pennsylvania. She was the beloved daughter of the late Pedro and Martha (Hrynczak) Rymar.
A graduate of Archbishop Wood High School, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Temple University. She was a long-time employee of Peddlers Village in Lahaska, Pennsylvania where she was known and loved by many.
Eliana “Yana” Walker is best remembered for her unconditional love for her family and friends. She was happiest when everyone could gather and spend time together. She had an incredibly special relationship with each of them. Everyone was always welcomed in Yana’s eyes and heart.
She is survived by her husband Robert H. Walker and her children Daniel Ochnich and Christopher (Hannah) Ochnich. She is also survived by her brother George (Beth) Rymar, her nieces and nephews who she loved dearly and several great nieces and nephews who all knew her as “Aunt Yana”. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her sister Celia Campfield.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday April 30, 2021 Viewing 9:30am followed by her Funeral Mass at 11am at Saint John Bosco Church 235 East County Line Road, Warminster, Pennsylvania 18974. Internment will follow at Saint John Neumann Cemetery 3797 County Line Road, Chalfont, Pennsylvania 18914.
