"Rita Elizabeth Barger (formerly Krauss) passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, September 9th, at home surrounded by family and friends at the age of 61. Rita had fought valiantly battling cancer for the past year. She is survived by two children, Samantha (37) and Bianca (32), her partner of 13 years, James, along with nieces Lisa (37) and Lauren (34), and nephews Pete (42), and Pelle (37).Rita is also survived by her father William Krauss, sisters Irene Krauss and Denise (Krauss) Tsichlis (Peter),nephew Peter Tsichlis Jr (Tarah) and great nephew Eamonn Tsichlis and best friend Chris Spinnraker Rita was one of a kind , full of joy and love, and always laughing about something. The hope and radiance she left behind will not be soon forgotten. She had a love of hockey, cats, and practical jokes. There was no one kinder, more deserving of peace than Rita. May she be at peace in the light of Heaven forevermore.”
